The Mount Waverley Village Shopping Centre is situated in and around Hamilton Place Mount Waverley and includes businesses trading on Stephensons Road, Winbourne Avenue, Virginia Avenue and The Avenue on the eastern side of Stephensons Road.

MOUNT WAVERLEY Shopping Centre is cutting its plastic bag use, with shop keepers giving away 20,000 reusable bags. Traders hope the "eco-friendly" bags will cut landfill and rubbish on the streets and are offering rewards to loyal customers. Participating shops will give green-thinking buyers a 5 per cent discount on selected items. Mt Waverley Chamber of Commerce spokesman Matthew Clark said the bags were roomier than re-usable bags sold at supermarkets. "They're a lot wider, they are more of an upmarket shopping bag" Mr Clark said. Australian shoppers have reduced plastic bag use by 45 per cent since a reusable bag push started in 2002 - thats a drop of 3.5 billion bags between 2002 and 2005. You can pick up a re-usable bag from any business in Mount Waverley Village free of charge.
